  • Direct and supervise the US Accounting Team following the company’s policies and ensuring compliance with all applicable laws, rules, and regulations
  • Provide leadership, direction, and management for financial accounting
  • Maintain financial staff job results by coaching, counseling, and disciplining employees; planning, monitoring, and appraising job results
  • Perform tasks associated with month-end and year-end close of financial statements, account reconciliations & G/L analysis
  • Own the timely completion of the month-end close, identify and implement required processes or improvements to enhance the efficiency and accuracy of the monthly, quarterly, and annual reporting process
  • Supervise the preparation and maintenance of required reconciliations, schedules, subsidiary ledgers, and journal entries in support of financial statement assertions
  • Review, audit, and prepares journal entries, as well as perform analytical reviews of the monthly operating results to ensure the reasonability and accuracy of accounting data /reports
  • Direct the transactional processing of financial procedures and policies
  • Support Finance Department initiatives, including software and systems implementation and other departmental or firm-wide improvements, through research, planning, and implementation, as needed


  • Minimum 7 years of overall financial and managerial accounting experience
  • Experience with financial reporting requirements & progressive accounting experience
  • Strong analytical, communication, and leadership skills
  • Excellent communication, management and interpersonal skills, with the ability to identify issues and solutions, and ensure timely project completion with minimal supervision
  • Ability to work in a dynamic and changing environment
  • Self-starter, ability to identify issues and resolve problems
  • Strong work ethic, accountability, and team mentality
  • Capable of multitasking while adhering to internal or external operational and financial deadlines
  • Strong experience in both the private and public accounting sectors is preferred but not required
