Senior Product Control Accountant

Celsius Network is looking for a highly motivated senior Product Control Accounting professional to be a key member of the Finance Product Control team.  The candidate will work closely with the Finance leadership team and department leaders to support various accounting functions within Product Control with a focus on new deployment opportunities covering P&L recognition, accounting application and tax treatment.  The candidate will be responsible for accounting, reporting and analysis of deployment activities and strategies across the firm.  


  • Perform month-end accounting close procedures associated with trading in both regulated and non-regulated entities across the globe.
  • Liaise with key departments to determine the potential accounting application and treatment for proposed business transactions and new deployment opportunities. 
  • Work closely with Risk and Trading departments on approval of new deployment strategies, including providing recommendations of accounting applications. 
  • Collaborate with other accounting functions (FP&A, legal entity control, external reporting and regulatory reporting) to support the overall business needs
  • Work with the Tax department to provide P&L analysis in connection with tax treatment on new trading strategies launches.
  • Ensure compliance with internal controls, policies and procedures over accounting activities and assist in the design and implementation of new controls and procedures.


  • Bachelor's degree in accounting, finance, or business-related area.   Work experience in the Fintech or banking industry is preferred.
  • 6+ years of relevant experience in accounting or finance
  • Experience with US GAAP and IFRS accounting principles
  • Basic understanding of financial instruments, including derivatives and crypto is preferable, not required.
  • Excellent attention to detail, ability to multitask and meet tight deadlines.
  • High level of proficiency in Microsoft Office products (Excel, Word, PowerPoint).
  • Self-directed and able to construct meaningful analysis with general guidance.
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills with all levels of the organization.
